2. Trips to Penang, Genting and Malacca with my family.
Last year my family and I were able to go for some unforgetable trips and we managed to have lots of fun. Actually it had been many years since we went for a family trip so it was really great to be able to have family trip last year. Hope that this year we can have family trips again as I really like going trips with my family. XOXO !!

Genting's Trip :)
Penang's Trip :)

Malacca's Trip :)
3. Graduation !!
Yes, after 6 years of sweats and tears, I finally graduated with honors!!. I was so happy as I was able to graduate with all my coursemates but at the same time I was also sad because we have to go our own separate ways now. Anyway, I enjoyed the 6 years that I spent with all of the B.ed TESL guys!! :)

4. Sabah!!
I was posted to Sabah, Lahad Datu on August last year and when I heard the news I actually cried due to the horror stories that I heard from people about Sabah. However, when I reached there I really enjoyed myself. I got to know a lot of friends, did a lot of exciting activities and got to visit many beautiful places at Sabah with my Sabahan friends like Mori, Auntie Lorita, Autie Maznah, Auntie Mazni and all the others. The people and the places there are really GREAT!! However, I still hope that I will be able to come back to KL to teach as all my families and friends are here.

Camping at Dantai
Semporna, where Mohanesh and Nori are posted. Had an enjoyable trip there :)
The beautiful and cold Kundasang
Catching fish at the stream :)
5. Registration At Tian Hou Temple
Baby and I decided to get register at Tian Hou Temple on 4th of October. We had all the wishes from our families and relatives. Our wedding will definitely be a great one in the future.. Hehe..
6. Trip with Rawang Gangz..
Last year I managed to go for a trip at Genting with my Rawang friends. I really had an enjoyable time with all of them as it was not easy to go out for trips like this together as a gang. The gossiping, fooling around and making fun of each really made this a memorable trip. Hope that we can still do it this year. :)
7. Christmas Celebration
I celebrated last year Christmas with Tisha, Ronald, Kelvin and his gf, Beverly, Siva and Baby. We had our countdown at the Curve and we really enjoyed ourselves. On Christmas day, we went to the ACTS church to see Julia perform in the Big Show. Then we went for to watch 'The Spirit' which everyone thought sucks. Haha.. Well, I would say that I had an incredible Xmas!!

8. New Year
Yesterday, we had our countdown at the Curve again. We were thinking that the Curve would have an incredible countdown with fantastic fireworks. However, the countdown wasn't that great and the fireworks were not great too. Besides, we had to wait for the jam to ease until 2 am. Tisha and I were exhausted as we went shopping first at One U at 2pm.Hence, the New Year countdown wasn't that 'Great'. Hopefully this year's countdown will be better than 2008.
Anyway, I hope that 2009 will bring me and all the people that I love lots of good lucks and happiness. Besides, I also hope that I will be able to come back to KL to teach.
Happy 2009!!

Yogi Tree
The ambiance is very relaxing and you can see many advises on the wall.
The counter is also written with today's special menu so you can choose the food from there without looking at the menu too.
The menu of Yogi Tree. We had ordered Original Roast Chicken, Chicken Cheeseburger, Chicken Pie, Nasi Ayam Percik and Spanish Fried Rice. We also ordered three cups of fruit juice. All the dishes that we ordered were delicious but the serving is not very big except from the Spanish Fried Rice which can be shared among 3 people. The desserts there are also very nice.
There is one good news.Anyone who has HSBC credit card can enjoy 20% discounts on the main dishes until 31st December. So, anyone who has HSBC credit card can try to go there. :)

~Chico & Oreo up for ADOPTION~
This is Chico. He has brown and white long fur. He is very tame and he likes to eat carrot form your hand. He is a Shelty.
This is Oreo. He has black and white short fur and that is the reason we named him Oreo. He is very tame and he is a coward. He is an Abyssinian.

~ Sakae Sushi ~
On this Tuesday, Tisha and I went to the Curve for another shopping spree. After one whole day of walking around, we decided to fill our stomach with Japanese food and we chose Sakae Shushi for our dinner. I have always wanted to eat Sakae Sushi as many people told me that the food there is good.

Tisha and I looking tired after one whole day of shopping. :)

The different types of sushi that are served there. The price is from Rm1.90 - 3.90.
We ordered a plate of ebidon, tuna sushi and also salmon sushi. Then I ordered a bowl of chicken udon and Tisha ordered Unagi hot bowl. Besides, we ordered green tea ice as our drinks and when the green tea arrived only we got to know that the hot water from the basin was actually for mixing the green tea. What a revelation!! Haha!!

The Unagi hot bowl.Tisha complained that she could feel the small bones in the Unagi and said that Sushi Zanmai Unagi is better.I also agreed with her that Sushi Zanmai food is better than Sakae Sushi and have more choices.

The green tea set. You have to do the green tea yourself and I think it's a brilliant idea as the waiter or waitress do not need to help us to refill. Besides, Tisha burned her hand because of this too.Hehe..

You can also order your food by using the PC. Just click on the food and the waiter will send them to you. But no one actually use this facility.

2. Karaoke Session
The first activity after we had our MC D lunch was to sing karaoke but we decided to do it during the dinner time as the price was cheaper and we could have our dinner together. Most of them had never gone to Genting's karaoke before and it was already several years since I visited Genting's karaoke, so all of us did not know how the karaoke room would be and we were all filled with anticipation of having a superb karaoke session. Deng - Deng - Deng - Deng! The room was actually quite small for 13 of us and the things inside were all very outdated. From the TV to sofa and even the remote control. We actually had a good laugh at the room, thinkin that it was such a 'Dinosaur room'. The problem of singing k at genting was we were not able to sing new songs because they did not have them. We actually had a hard time selecting our songs to sing. The worst thing were the mics and the surround system. 13 of us actually had to share two mics as the waitress said it was their protocol of giving two mics for each room. Then one of the mics was not working and after changing it, the mic was still giving us problem. Sigh......You should upgrade all the rooms Tan Sri Lim.
Happily snapping away during our Karaoke session. :)
3. Bowling Session
We girls decided to go bowling at around 11 something as the guys wanted to go to the casino and this was the most memorable bowling session that I had ever had.First of all, I started of terribly and scored only 9 points after 3 games and all of them were laughing at me saying that the last one would have to treat all. To show that I was not a terrible bowler and also to save my wallet, I actually strike at the 4th game.WOW!! All of them were shocked and we were also lauging as we belived the reason that I strike was because I jumped on the floor till the pin drooped.Haha..Could anyone believe that?At the end I won the 3rd place.Haha. The funniest incident that happened was a group of foreigners (we suspected from India) actually had the audacity to come inside and took the balls and threw them on other people's lane. The couple beside us were the victims. When we were looking at the drama unfolding beside us, something happened to Hui Ling. It was her last game and she had just strike so she had another chance to play. When she was looking at the 'drama' an Idian woman who was from the group actually took a ball and sneaked up to her lane and threw the ball - inside the 'LONGKANG'. Haha!!
When Hui Ling saw it, she went ballistic and she scolded the woman "What the HELL, why did you simply threw on other people's lane?" All of us were shocked to see her so fierce as this was the first time we saw her scolding at someone so fiercely. Then the woman kept on apologising and ran back to her family. At the end the staff was able to ask them to leave. It was actually the funniest thing that I had ever seen before and all of us really had a good laugh at it.We would not forget this incident forever, especially 'What the Hell!'. Haha
Posing with the ball during the game :)
Where you throwing the ball gal?Haha..
4. The Van Didn't Come to Fectch Us!
On Sunday, we had agreed with Mr Raymond that he would come to fetch us at 2 pm sharp. 8 of us were waiting impatiently for him when the clock was showing 2pm and most of us were rushing home as that day was 'Go Dong'. Yian decided to call him after we waited around 10 minutes and he said he was on the way up. After another 15 minutes, she called again but this time he did not pick up the phone. She continued calling him and he still didn't pick up. After half an hour, we were all getting angry so we decided to give him a last chance. If he still did not pick up our call, we would just call taxis to send us back. At the end, he still didn't pick up the call so we decided to take taxis to go back. This was the most irresponsible person that I had ever seen before so next time please do not ask Mr Raymond to send any of you to anywhere because he does not know what is called RESPONSIBILITY!
All of these incidents actually make this trip more fun and memorable. I will cherish this memory forever as we all know that it is not so easy to go for a trip together again in the future as all of us are busy with our own lives. However, I hope that we will have many more chances to go for a trip together again :)

~ S@D ~

Every Sunday, she would fetch me from my house and went church with her.Then. we would go to eat lunch together and now I will definitely miss all these outings.Sigh.. Besides, she was the only one that I could speak in Mandarin with and any problems that I faced I would also tell her.Well, I will definitely miss her as she is a good friend to me. She really helped me a lot during the first few weeks that I was there. She was the one that fetched me from the airport, introduced me to the school teachers and told me all about the school.Without her, I think I would face a lot of problems.
However, I wish her all the best in her future school and get a baby faster with her husband.Hehe.. I will miss u gal :) xoxo

~ M@rLey & mE ~

This book is really wonderful and even people that do not love dogs will also fall in love with dogs after reading this book. Marley and Me is about a couple, Jenny and John, who just got married and everything was wonderful for them. Then they brought home Marley, a wiggly yellow fur ball of a puppy that would change their life.

When I was reading the book, I would laugh at the antics of Marley and would get angry just like the author when Marley did something really bad. However, at the end of the story, I was crying as Marley left this world after 13 years with his beloved owners.
This book actually reminded me of a puppy Labrador, Xiao Q, that I had taken care of few years ago. She was exactly like Marley naughty, cheeky and adorable. Just like Marley, she had left this world too. Hopefully, they meet each other at the heaven and can play together happily.
You can visit Marley and Me website at http://www.johngroganbooks.com/marley/index.html and you will be able to check out Marley's cute pictures. Now I can't wait for the movie which will be released on X'mas day.Hopefully the movie is as good as the book.
