Me, saying Cheese for my hubby :)
The first stop that we went was the Portuguese Settlement as they said they wanted to see the Christmas decoration. When we reached there,my hubby and Ben started to take out their huge cameras and started to take pictures everywhere.
Ben and Yian taking pictures but it looks like they were laughing more than taking pictures.Haha!
Kissing the glowing balls on the Xm@s tree!!
The street of the Portuguese Settlement was already lighted up with beautiful lights and most of the houses were decorated beautifully. We were all amazed at the creativity of the Portuguese people of decorating their houses. They were all so beautiful!!
The whole street was lighted up with beautiful and colourful lights.
The beautiful lights actually make the tree looks so beautiful and extraordinary. This tree is in front of a Portuguese family's house.
After finished taking pictures of the Portuguese Settlement,we decided to go to Jonker Street for a walk. Jonker Street looked so different from the last time I went there as most of the streets were decorated with red lights and the buildings actually looked very nice and romantic. It was already 11 something so most of the stalls were already closed. However, I still managed to buy a few things (two pairs of shoes, a shirt for Brandon and book marks). Well, I'm indeed a shopaholic. :)
The whole Jonker Street was decorated with red lights that made it looked very antique and romantic.
We decided to go back to the apartment (A Famosa) at 12 something as we were very exhausted. It took us nearly an hour to reach the apartment as we lost our ways and everyone was so exhausted when we reached. However, we were not allowed to rest when we reached there as we had to clean the apartment before we could sleep. So, we only got to sleep at 3 am.Phew..It was really tiring.
The next day we woke up at 10 am and got ready to go to Malacca town to have our chicken rice ball (Malacca's famous dish). Many people were already queuing up when we reached the restaurant. So,like all the other people we had to queue up under the hot sun too with our stomach growling hungrily. At last it was our turn to enjoy the meal.Yaay!! However, I felt that the meal was not that delicious actually :(
The chicken rice balls. Looked Yummy but not as nice as I thought.Disappointed!!
The chicken rice restaurant that is loacted on the Jonker Street but we didn't have our chicken rice meal here.Haha!! Maybe the chicken rice here is better than the one we had.
After finished eating our not so delicious meal, we decided to walk around Malacca town.
This is a stationary shop and I think that this shop is really very old.The signboard also looks very old.Malacca is indeed a historical place.
Not many places can see this kind of old building anymore. The building reminds me of how my hometown looked like many years ago.Sigh..
Taking pictures in front of Christ Church Melaka.Another ancient building.
Posing at the old church with Yian and Ben :)
My hubby was able to capture this fantastic picture of the vessel during the sunset.Good job Baby!! :)
I really had an enjoyable trip with all of them and hope that soon we will be able to go for another trip together. Now, I'm anticipating for the Genting trip with my secondary school's friends. :)
